was Railway Telegraph Official
L.M.S. Derby.
He originated from Chester.

1881: Resident at 151, Crewe St., Derby.
It is likely this street of houses was built and named in tribute to the railway workers arriving in Derby from Crewe
.

1911: George and Hannah have moved to 30, Stanley St., Chesterfield, possibly because of George's work.

Ethel is now married to Leo but there are 5 other children still living with their parents all born in Derby:

Beatrice aged 24 (mother's help), Maud aged 22 (Mantle Maker), Herbert aged 21 (Railway Clerk), Walter aged 18 (Apprentice Cabinet Maker) and Gladys aged 13 at school).
