Main residence after abt. 1917: 63, Gladstone Street, Derby (see picture right).
L.H.T. owner of several properties in Derby.

Leo Henry Tunaley

b. 1880, Newton Abbott, Devon.

m. Ethel Hulse, 1906, Shardlow, nr. Derby.

 

 

Image above - at celebration of their Golden Wedding Anniversary.

 

Ethel died Derby, 1960. L.H.T. died Derby, 1966, aged 85 years.

Picture left column: what is left of Oxford St., where Leo was first brought up with his family. The street has been all but demolished making way for a modern Derbyshire Royal Infirmary - only a corner shop remains - see Leo's grandfather Samuel (b. 1810). Picture centre is of 98 Walbrook Road where Leo was living 1911 after marriage 1906. Living with the family was Leo's youngest brother Frank Thomas Tunaley, aged 17, an apprentice mathematics instrument maker for mining work. Click on pictures to enlarge.
