Records confirm that Mary's brother Thomas Nelson Tunaley

emigrated to America 1828. The arrival port was Baltimore,

Maryland. Passenger lists show that in 1841, a Mary "Tunnally"

also arrived New York. Most probably this was Thomas's sister

Mary who by then was 54/55 years old.
