R.H. Threlfall's formative years had been in England. Prior to settling in Australia, he had been living in South America, the West Indies and Canada.

 

Killed in action, aged 19, in "The August Offensive" at Gallipoli, 8th August 1915 (Lance Sergeant, Light Horse Australian Army Medical Corps). Laid to Rest:

Embarkation Pier, Chailak Dere, Gallipoli.
